Conditions of floatation and immersion of a body?

The conditions of the floating or sinking of an object are -

a) If W₁>W₂, or if the weight of the object is more than the liquid abstracted by the object then the object will sink in the liquid.

b) If W₁>W₂, or if the weight of the object is equal to the liquid abstracted by the object then the object will float in a completely submerged state.

c) If W₁<W₂, or if the weight of the object is less than the liquid abstracted by the object then the object will float in a partially submerged state.

Three states can be observed due to objects floating and immersion
Risks of drug addiction and techniques of tackling them

When you try to get down from a moving train why do you fall in the forward direction?
