How mirror can be identified by observing the values of the magnification?

How mirror can be identified by observing the values of the magnification? If an object is placed within the focal length of a mirror, the image of the object will get magnified in case of a concave mirror, and will get diminished in case of a convex mirror. The value of magnification will be greater than 1 in case of a concave mirror, and less than 1 in case of a convex mirror.

Conditions of floatation and immersion of a body?

Conditions of floatation and immersion of a body?

The conditions of the floating or sinking of an object are -

a) If W1>W2, or if the weight of the object is more than the liquid abstracted by the object then the object will sink in the liquid.

b) If W1>W2, or if the weight of the object is equal to the liquid abstracted by the object then the object will float in a completely submerged state.

c) If W1<W2, or if the weight of the object is less than the liquid abstracted by the object then the object will float in a partially submerged state.
