Why Adulterant food is the barrer of sound health?

Adulterants are harmful chemical substances added to the food for color, taste, smell, and preservation purposes. Commercial colors, antibiotics, chemicals (carbide, formalin, heavy metal) are used vigorously in the foods of Bangladesh. These adulterant foods are injurious to health. The colors used in foods are not food grade at all, these destroy liver function and cause various diseases. Livestock and poultry feeds are also poisoned by these adulterants. So, these are definitely a barrier to sound health.
