Classification of organism
On the basis of each other's similarity and dissimilarity, grouping organisms into groups and subgroups is called classification. Swedish botanist Carolus Linnaeus (1707 - 1778) first introduced complete classification and naming of organisms. So he is called the father of taxonomy. He first classified the living world into two kingdoms - Plant and Animal.
