The ability of a fluid to exert an upward force on an object that is immersed in it called buoyancy.

The upward force that liquid or gaseous matter applies perpendicularly on an object partially or completely submerged in the liquid or gaseous matter is called buoyancy.


Buoyancy is an upward force exerted by a fluid that opposes the weight of an immersed object
