If you pull a book from the ground to the table, which type of work is it for your force?

If you pull a book from the ground to the table, which type of work is it for your force?

If I pull a book from the ground to the table, for my force, the work is positive. We know, if the displacement occurs along the direction of the applied force, then it is positive work. To pull that book, I had to apply force on the direction of displacement of that book, opposite to the gravitational force. 

Thus, concerning my force, the work is positive.
