The address name is used to locate a file on the computer. If anyone share files on a network, he may need to tell other people his computer’s name/address or network address so they can locate his computer on the network.

An address book or a name and address book is a book or a database used for storing entries called contacts. Each contact entry usually consists of a few standard fields (for example first name, last name, company name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, fax number, mobile phone number).

The graphical control element address bar (also location bar or URL bar) shows the current URL and accepts a typed URL that navigates the user to a chosen website in a web browser.

In computing, an (often-virtual) location in address space, notably: memory address within a computer, email address, network address, etc correspond to a network host, peripheral device, disk sector, a memory cell or other logical or physical entity.

In a computer operating system, an access path is a route through a file system to a particular file.

The operations that an operating system can perform, such as read, write, append, lock, and execute.

The access key or Alt key can be found on either side of the space bar on a computer keyboard. They are commonly used in conjunction with a set of numbers to enable foreign characters to be typed. See ASCII, ANSI.
