### What is a median in math?

What is a median in math? The median is the middle number in a sorted, ascending or descending, list of numbers and can be more descriptive of that data set than the average. Median is the middle number in a sorted list of numbers. To determine the median value in a sequence of numbers, the numbers must first be sorted, or arranged, in value order from lowest to highest or highest to lowest. If there is an odd amount of numbers, the median value is the number that is in the middle, with the same amount of numbers below and above. If there is an even amount of numbers in the list, the middle pair must be determined, added together, and divided by two to find the median value. The median is sometimes used as opposed to the mean when there are outliers in the sequence that might skew the average of the values.  You may like What is manifesting? What is electric Charge? ### What is zooming?

What is zooming? In graphical user interfaces, zooming means make a window larger. Typically, there is a zoom box in one corner of the window. When you select the zoom box the first time, the system expands the window to fill the entire screen. (This is sometimes called maximizing.) When you select it again, the window shrinks to its original size. You May Like What is zoom? Affect vs Effect What do you understand by phosphorylation? ### What is zoom?

What is zoom? When referring to an image or graphic, zoom is a term used to describe a function of focusing on a section of the image and increasing its overall size, allowing the user to manipulate or view that section in greater detail. In the image to the right, is an example of an image that has been zoomed into at 1600%. You May Like What is zoom? Affect vs Effect What do you understand by phosphorylation? ### Information and Communication Technology

Information and Communication Technology Questions and Answer What is Global Village? 'Global Village' is an idea which has brought all the countries of the world under a single digital village, connected by electronic information and communication technology. What is Information and Communication Technology? Information technology is information systems related to technology. What is Virtual Reality? The definition of virtual reality comes naturally from the definitions for both 'virtual' and 'reality. The definition of 'virtual' is near and reality is what we experience as human beings. So, the term 'virtual reality basically means 'near-reality. This could of course mean anything but it usually refers to a specific type of reality emulation. Virtual reality is simulation via computer technology. What is Artificial Intelligence? Artificial intelligence (AI) is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer syste

Ans: Solving a specific problem in a logical and sequential way. What is a Flow chart? Ans: A diagram base process that solves a specific problem with some special symbol. What is a C program? Ans: A high-level and general-purpose programing language. What is Data type? Ans: An extensive system used for declaring variables or functions of different types, integer, float, character, string, etc are data types used in C. What is a compiler? Ans: A type of translator that converts high-level programming language to machine language. In other words, it converts the source program into an object program. What is an Interpreter? Ans: It converts high-level language into machine language just like a compiler. However, the interpreter executes the line and shows the immediate result. What is Structured programming? Ans: Edgar D Costa first gave the idea

### Concept of Global Village

Concept of Global Village Before starting to learn about the global village, it is necessary to learn about information and technology as it is considered as the spine of the global village. Technology  This current era is called the era of information technology. Again contribution of technology can be seen in every part of this era. Today's human civilization is mainly the history of technological development.  Technology is the practical knowledge of the combined achievement of science and engineering. On the basis of human society, the definition of technology can be said as "Technology is some practical technique which man can use for his circumstantial development." Achieve knowledge about any machine and natural element and the power of using them efficiently is called technology. Every day we are using various technologies for making our life more comfortable. Information Technology The technology that collects information, integrates, validates, preserves, pr

### What is cache?

In computing, a cache is a component that stores data so future requests for that data can be served faster, the data stored in a cache might be the results of an earlier computation or the duplicates of data stored elsewhere. A cache, while a cache miss occurs when it cannot. Cache hits are served by reading data from the cache, which is faster than recomputing a result or reading from a slower data store; thus the more requests can be served from the cache, the faster the system performs. ### What is Buffer?

In computer science, a buffer is a region of physical memory storage used to temporarily store data while it is being moved from one place to another. Typically, the data is stored in a buffer as it is retrieved from an input device (such as a microphone) or just before it is sent to an output device (such as speakers). However, a buffer may be used when moving data between processes within a computer.  You may like Do I need car insurance? What is car insurance? How could I get cheaper car insurance? ### What is Browsing Software?

Browsing software is a software application for retrieving, presenting, and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web. An information resource is identified by a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI/URL) and maybe a web page, image, video, or another piece of content. Hyperlinks present in resources enable users easily to navigate their browsers to related resources.  You may like Do I need car insurance? What is car insurance? ### What is Browsing?

Browsing is a kind of orienting strategy. It is supposed to identify something of relevance for the browsing organism. When used about human beings it is a metaphor taken from the animal kingdom. It is used, for example, about people browsing open shelves in libraries or browsing databases or the Intenet. In Library and information science, it is an important subject, both purely theoretically and as applied science aiming at designing interfaces that support browsing activities for the user. Broadcasting is the distribution of audio and or video content to a dispersed audience via any electronic mass communications medium, but typically one using the electromagnetic spectrum (radio waves), in one too many models. The term broadcasting derived from the method of sowing seeds in a field by casting them broadly about was originated from methods using the wired transmission (as in telegraph and telephone) or that were intended as a person to person communication.  You May Like 👉    What is green chemistry? 👉    What is meant by C4 plants? 👉    What is salt bridge? 👉    What is glass fire? 👉    Why chemistry is called the key science? 👉    What is diaphragm? 👉    Since when chemistry is being practiced? 👉    What is interphase? 👉    What is Al-Chemi?

### What is Boot disk?

### What is Boot?

In computing, booting (or booting up) is the initialization of a computerized system. The system can be a computer or a computer appliance. The booting process can be "hard" after electrical power to the CPU is switched from off to on (in order to diagnose particular hardware errors), or "soft", when those power-on self-tests (POST) can be avoided.  You may like Do I need car insurance?
