What is called orbital?

The sublevels of an atom are called orbital.

Le Chatelier's Principle.

Le Chatelier's principle states that - if a constraint (such as a change in pressure, temperature, or concentration of a reactant) is applied to a system in equilibrium, the equilibrium will shift so as to tend to counteract the effect of the constraint.

What is functional group?

When a group of atoms joins together to form a group that acts like an atom in a chemical reaction, is called a functional group.

What is alkyl radical?

The single valence radical formed after removing one hydrogen atom from the Alkane is called Alkyl Radical.

What is gas hole?

Gasohol is a type of fuel where  10 - 20% ethanol is mixed with petrol.

What is zooplankton?

Minute animal living in the water is called zooplankton.

What is coal?

Coal is a hard rock that can be burned as a solid fossil fuel. It is mostly carbon but also contains hydrogen, sulfur, oxygen, and nitrogen.

What is organic compounds?

Hydrocarbons made of hydrogen and carbon and compounds that are derived from hydrocarbons are known as organic compounds.

What is an aromatic hydrocarbon?

The word aromatic is taken from the Greek word aroma which means scent or fragrance. The aromatic compounds are generally 5, 6 or 7 membered co-planer cyclic compounds. It has alternative double bonds that mean there is a carbon-carbon single bond and a then carbon-carbon double bond.

What is the monomer of protein?

The monomer of protein is amino acid.

What is magma?

The molten mix of different substances that pour out from the volcanoes is called magma.

What is alloy?

The solid substance obtained from mixing any molten metal or nonmetal with another molten metal and cooling the mixture is called alloy.

What is the ingredient of toilet cleaner?

Nuclear fusion is the process by which multiple nuclei join together to form a heavier nucleus and it is accompanied by the release or absorption of energy depending on the masses of the nuclei involved.

What is pH scale?

In mathematical terms, the value of pH may be any number from negative to positive, in reality, the value is measured on a scale of 0 to 14.

What is radioactive isotope?

There are some isotopes the nucleus of which spontaneously synthesize themselves and emit alpha, beta, gamma rays. They are called radioactive isotopes.

What is calcination?

The process of heating a condensed ore at temperature below the melting point in absence of air is called calcination.

What is gangue?

During metal extraction from ores, some other materials besides the ore are mixed with the ores which are known as metal impurities.

What is lime water?

A diluted solution of calcium hydroxide is called lime water. The formula of lime water is Ca(OH)2

What is rock?

When different minerals are mixed together, they form hard particle. The matter produced from these particles mixed together is called rock.

What is liquid mineral?

The minerals which are obtained in liquid state are called liquid minerals.
